Need help, '86 C10 AC condenser insulator.

I ended up finding mine on a '93 S10 in a junk yard. It was exactly the same part #. Good luck.

    AC Compressor

No problem, if it helps the OD is 7/8" with a 1/2" hole through it. You can go to your local hardware store and pick up a short pipe nipple and cut off the threads and cut the center to length for a few dollars and no one will know the difference.

    AC Compressor

The spacer on my '81 is 1.400" measured with a set of dial calipers. From the front of the compressor to the center of the belt groove is approximately 1.2" with an eyeball. Hope this helps.

'81 bolt in high hump and clutch pedal assy.

I have a good NV3500 that came out of a '92 OBS that I am planning on using, so thats why I want a hyd. pedal assy. I know that are not know to be a strong transmission but it will be going behind a worn out 305 daily driver so I'm not to worried about it. That coupled with most of my wilder...

    Spray vs Plastic Bedliner

As far as the lower tie downs I used a u-bolt on the corners of the bed. I put a slight bend in them to make it a little easier to use. The rear ones I removed the taillight to gain access to the nuts. One of the best most useful things I’ve ever done to the truck.

What have you done to your square lately??

From what I have seen a lot of the factory non-air and manual trucks got a shorter radiator. My '86 is factory air with a A833 4-speed had the shorter radiator. The upper radiator brackets are L-shaped and the fan shroud is also different.

    pin stripes

Holley also sells kits for our trucks. I have used one kit from Holley it was a little less expensive than Phoenix Graphix, and it went on just fine and looked good. I have used a couple from Phoenix, I think they may have a better selection of colors, with no problems. I installed a kit from...

    Question about headers

Hooker is making cast iron manifolds that look pretty good and are supposed to flow a lot better than the stock ones. I haven't tried any yet but that is what I am leaning toward on my next engine swap.

Need ideas for a modern steering wheel.

Comfort Grip is the name of it, I'm pretty sure it is made by OER (Original Equipment Reproduction) but not 100 percent on that. 15" dia. and the overall dish is 3 7/8" including the adapter. I will say this, it sat out in the direct Georgia sun about 6-7 hours this past Sunday and while the...

Need ideas for a modern steering wheel.

I installed one of these comfort grip wheels on mine about a month ago and so far I love it. If I remember right it was about $200 with the adapter kit and horn button. Very easy to install and horn works great.

    Looking for a shift knob.

I had a red 3 billiard ball on mine for a few years but the sun finally turned it pink. I bought this q-ball and had my son who works for a machine shop mill in my pattern on it. I have always liked the feel of the bigger billiard ball as a shifter knob.
