I almost bought the OE replacement Painless kit - $700ish. What I wound up getting was a Painless kit for a GM column (the hardest part IMO) for <$400 as I am replacing the entire harness myself with relays, etc. Even had many more circuits for adding power windows, locks, etc.
My issue was the carb the PO put on was a 390 - wasn't enough for a V8 (my buddy's V6 Jeep loved it though). I had the Q-Jet rebuilt but then found out the PO cut all the wiring out when he put the small Holly on. wtf?
So got a ProFlo 4 - hoping to fire it up this summer.
