    My bed is perfect except for 50c sized holes where there was a 5th wheel. Been wanting to get a piece of bed floor panel and make matching plugs to fill them. Some grinding and spray in liner and its whole again. Dont have $2K for a new bed floor (w/shipping) - intended on buying a patch panel...

    Nope. Same one. The guy who rebuilt my axles drives an 87 burb so we tested it on his. No noise and very smooth.

    The same radio that was in my Dad's '83 Olds 98 Regency. I know these are coveted. Probably the only factory HU I'd use. There is a couple of guys on feebay that restore these.....iirc around $300 but they are like new when they're done.

    I had never touched a steering box til mine. There are a few really good vids out there - found that mine was missing parts as I got into it. Best way I could suggest to keep the bearings all in place is to use royal purple grease - everything stays in place. Kits (rings and seals) are cheap...

    Cleaned up all the new welds, then used a 2K seam sealer and finished redoing all the old, including (and especially) inside the cowl, then primered the bottom and another coat of primer on everything. Officially done til Spring. :hat:

    I mounted the block off panel for all the heater core holes I wont need anymore. Used 3M panel adhesive with 1/8" screws to hold it in place, then used a stud welder to plug the holes once it had set up. Taped off and got about half the seams sealed with 2K seam sealer, including the block off...

    Best I could find with the rod. I'd get you a new pic but I left it off for the time being until the fuel lines are all connected. Rod goes from the edge of the shield to a 90* tab that attaches it to the frame.

    Here's a pic of the aforementioned shield.....can see the holes and get an idea where to hunt for bolts.
