The cuts are leading edge of the bed,no visible seam to worry about. The other cut is directly ahead of the taillights and a seam will have to be dealt with. Maybe someone can photo shop what a short wheel base but full length behind the wheel would look like. Might be a cool third option.

There's a visible seam there, it's just all the way up at the leading edge.

^That's the correct way to do it. My truck, they made the cut ~4" or so back from the head board and then the one at the back was ~6" or so behind the wheel tubs. They just made straight cuts, if you catch my truck in the right light at the right angle, you can see it on the outside of the bedsides even though they spotted in the paint

Yeah it's not terrible. But the way they did the truck above mine is better cuz the front cut ends up on the front corner so you only have to worry about warping the rear area when re-welding. Overall they did a good job other than cutting it 1/4-3/8" short lol

Idk, I bought the truck after it was cut. The guy I got it from bought it out of a barn, had it cut down, paint spotted in and clear coated and lowered on TT2s by the time I found it for sale.

A buddy of mine found a picture of it on their FB page pre-cut
