Found some excellent quality tailgate hinge trunnions.
Heavy gauge Stainless Steel and very sturdy pivot bearings.
I’ll post an update when they’re installed along with the new (Non Removable) Hinges.
I’m looking forward to a non rattling Tailgate !

OK, an Update on the new Stainless Steel and composite tailgate hinges
Worth every penny!! Yes they’re pricey about $65. Very tight fit between the two parts (hinge & trunnion). A little tricky to install because I used 2 Left side sets, which makes the tailgate Non Removable..

I removed the Left side support arm (elbow) Bolted the right trunnion to the bed, slid the right side hinge on to the right trunnion.. then put the loose Left side trunnion in the Left hinge (cup)…
Now I slid the left side of the tailgate down the side of the bed until the bolt holes aligned. (Note: I figured a way to do this alone, but it’s a Two man job !)

The tailgate fits tight, Doesn’t shake, jump or rattle at all, perfectly quiet. Yes!
