Anybody successfully found a replacement for stock y pipe? I bought one made by Walker and flanges are not wide enough to reach studs on manifold, plus flare on pipe barely does cover manifold donut gasket.

I'm running into a similar issue, its just I'm only looking for the downpipes that connect to the manifolds. They are not easy to find! I may just need to hit a local exhaust shop - you may want to do the same.

Exactly. I needed a new y pipe for the 74, nobody makes a replacement. Ended up having the muffler shop in the little town east of me making a complete new system for me. Sounds great

Best part, for me anyway. $250 for the whole thing, manifold to tailpipe and new muffler.

Both walkers y pipes i got----both for v-8 small block and 4.3 v-6 may have been a little tight, but generally worked well.

You may have to drill out the flange bolts a little bigger.

Don't have the part #'s offhand.
