For an unrelated project, I am doing wiring on a harness for rear lighting on my car. I will be using tessa tape which i used a tiny bit on my square and I must say I am IMPRESSED with how it goes on and how long it goes and etc. I heard you should singe the ends so it dont unravel, which I did.
But as far as long term goes, should I put conduit around it? Its not for show, but after spending an hour removing electrical tape from 1999 and its glue, i really dont want to do that again ever. or make it someone elses issue either. so I am gonna go tessa tape route. but if its not for show, i can see how it might eventually rub open or having plastic for waterproof-ness might be beneficial.
I suppose, what do yall think?
