Would front leaf springs bolt up?

Front leaf springs from a 89 one ton 4wd Dana 60 would they bolt up to a 76 3/4 4wd without major problems?

Yes, they are basically a direct fit. The only trick will be the bolt size at the rear eye of the spring, 89-91 squares used a larger bolt than previous years. All you have to do is drill the shackles bigger or buy aftermarket heavy duty shackles for the 89-91.

I believe the larger bolts started in '88. It could have been a mid year thing though.

Oh yeah, iirc when the larger bolt went into use, the shackles also became 1/2" longer, for better frame clearance.
