Wiring Two subs together?

Before I hook this up I wanna make sure I got em wired correctly?

2 channel 1000 watt amp
Two 12” Subs

So I’m gonna have the subs going to the one channel and extreme hack wiring diagram but this is how I have them wired as of now is this even close to correct?

That looks to me like you are trying to run two speakers in parallel which would make the load 1/2 of what the speakers are labeled as in two x 8ohms in parallel is 4 ohms 2 x 4 ohms parallel is 2 ohms. You need to see what load your amp is supposed to have too low of a load will short an amp. If you wire them in series 2 x8 ohms would be 16 ohms 2x4 ohms would be 8 ohms
