having a serious problem with replacing the wiper switch in my '85 c30. it's a NON TILT column with manual transmission. unfortunately i destroyed the covers and bent the key release lever in the process. everything i've been seeing on the internet is for a tilt column with automatic trans. it's hasn't been any help. if anyone knows how to do this, the help would be greatly appreciated.
i got the column apart mostly like the videos and directions i've seen on the internet but i can't seem to get the column covers apart to access the switch. i don't see any more screws holding the 2 pieces together, but i broke the one cover trying to pry it apart. also, i cant get the covers off because of the gears on the ignition switch mechanism. HELP ! !
