Just installed new window seals. Have electric windows. It's all the motor can do to go up and down. Has anyone used graphite powder on the felt channel with success?

I think wd 40 makes a dry lube of sorts so it's not oily and streaky

I put new seals in too and the windows struggled. Replaced the switches and new motors huge difference! The new motors work much better then the old ones.

I would lean towards a polymere like ArmorAll.
Maybe the regulator needs a cleaning and lube job.
Even the bearings or more likely the bushing in the motor is dry and causing the drag. Corroded electrical connections will also pull the motor down. Maybe a little of everything?

The driver side motor works good. There was indication it had been replaced sometime. On my way to lmc now. They are 4 miles from home. Picking up a new motor for passenger side.

I have even seen the coiled up return springs rust up and cause friction.

Is the motor indexed to the half moon drive gear or does it run to the stops in both directions?

Your proximity to lmc makes me want to hate you. I know it is wrong, but I can not help it. lol

I recently installed all new everything in my doors. Shipping was a lot! See above post. Anyway I have manual cranks and they are tight as well. Dry silicone lube helped a lot.
