A truck has a lot of loses in the drive train, on a calibrated chassis dyno I don't think you will get there with that engine combination. IMO chassis dyno numbers mean nothing, but are only good for tuning the entire combination.
I agree on both accounts. I dont expect it to ever see a dyno of any kind on my budget.
I imagine my loss will be in the higher range. Its a longbed with no supporting mods to help deliver the power where needed.
Thankfully HP isnt my main concern as much as torque. The truck will never rev past 5-5500k, intentionally anyways.
I am a bit concerned with the fact that the parts I have are intended for a 1800-6500rpm range and Ill have relatively low compression. may make getting out the hole a bit soft. IE torque concerns!!
My saving grace...( as previosly mentioned by one of the responders), Is that I will be undoubtedly doubling the numbers across the power band when compared to the anemic and worn 305 that is currently in it. I expect to be happy regardless when that is considered. Numbers Shmumbers it should be a good driver...I hope!
