Who makes a good Oil sending unit?

For what its worth I had an issue like this and it was the connection between the printed circuit and the gauge on the cluster. The little clips were corroded and it was not conducting correctly. that gauge was all over the place!

i can check it. and I think the guage is supposed to have some resistance from one terminal to the other?

I just hate pulling the cluster out.

you can reach it with the cluster in but you cant do anything about it without pulling the cluster. that's how I found it, I reached up and pressed on the clips and it started working........ then the cluster must come out to fix it.

Everything looked ok last year when i put it back together. Maybe when i have time i will pull it.
