I’m not a van guy. And it’s a project. But looks rust free and totally original.

I would love to have a van like that. It's a shame about the 4.3 though.

For the price and condition, I could look past the underwhelming 4.3. This could be a good candidate for a 4x4 swap, if you wanted to invest in the parts and fab work. Lots of these G vans have been made into neat offroad R.Vs after a 4x4 conversion.

Forget what it's called, but some of the vans had 4wd IFS....there was a drive shaft going to each front tire. Now if it was that, I'd be looking harder.

Someone help me out here lol

Back in the 90's I always had a van, nothing like post #6, mine all had the seats pulled out or all but the first bench. However I must admit both mine we Dodge vans as they made a longer wheel base. A lot of versatility in van.

You could never pull a trailer with the 4.3L which sucks, but it would get a little better mileage and there is something to be said for that.

I don't remember the manufacturer either. It was very unconventional. Maybe 10 years ago, there was someone up here on CL that was parting one out and I haven't seen another one since.

Cool article!

Interestingly, the van pictured laying on it's side is of the van I saw being parted out on CL.

A set of side pipes on that would complete the look!
