In the early 80s my parents bought a 79 Cheyenne that was used as a parts truck for the dealer, it was the light two tone blue with a white seat, also had stripes decal up the side that blended from red to yellow like a color swatch.

It was not an option in 1979 however it was in 1976 on the Spirit of 76 trucks.

It was available in '79 and '80 as a two tone interior. Pickups, Burbs and Blazers. You could get red/white, blue/white, and gray/white (that one might be '80 model pickups only). Possibly green/white too, I don't really remember for sure.

The seats, door panels and console if equipped were white, everything else was the secondary color. I don't remember about the seatbelts either, I'd have to look through all my old saved pics.

The headliner trim was white too, of course. Just like all of them in those years.

I would swear I've seen a white (oyster) colored dash along with door panels and seat in a truck before.

Around '75 or so there was a very very light green color. Could that have been it?

No, I was thinking it was one off the trucks that were actually used at Indy for the race. Either a festival truck, or parade truck maybe?

Beats me. I've never seen a white dash pad before. Actually, maybe not in any GM product at all either. Even the actual white interiors in other cars had a black dash and carpet.

And I know extremely little about the pace trucks, except they look badass.

I just googled the '80 pace trucks, and looks like everything showing a white interior has a grey dash. Maybe I saw everything else in the cab white, and my mind filled the dash in that color too. Or someone could have painted a dash to match the rest of the interior, who knows. I certainly can't find any example of a factory one.

I'm sure thats not factory. Tan, gray, red, blue, and...even olive green on older trucks....that's about it.
