Just recently, work has been getting these in, 4WD with diesels. Our shop doesn't have one yet though.

OK. Wife back. Biggest impression really quiet. More so than our Buick Regal. Smooth ride but you know you are in a truck. Comfortable. Accelerated onto highway with no problem, Looked at speedo, doing 90 before she knew it.

Has got a no cap/gas cap. Need a special adapter to open flap if you want to pour gas in with a can and spout. Special adapter comes with car.

Brakes adequate. but no load in bed. Backup camera works really well. Cruise holds speed, but transmission does the work. Our Buick just stays in drive.

No wander, handles well in curves.

Now it's my turn. hehehehe!

I have had my 17 Colorado for a year now and really like it. 4 dr ,4wd ,Z71 3.6 V6, runs like crazy and gets 22-25 usually. Tows pretty good ,too. Put the Corvette on the open car trailer and hauled to McCall(100miles) and back . Up and down and through some pretty curvey roads. No problems. Biggest thing is the wife LIKES it, huge plus!!

Cruise control iffy.

Rolls out over 5 MPH on semi-steep short downhill.

Whenever is does 2 MPH below set speed it downshifts and returns to speed.

Also takes about 1.5 to 2 sec to react to full pedal for passing.


I will test transmission and +/- linkage on next outing.

Did emergency slam the pedal brake test in the RAIN at 60 MPH. Stopped true and quick. Again at 45 and at 35 same result.

Noticed cool feature I never saw before, It shows the MPH you set the cruise at.

Long reaction times for full throttle is a common problem with modern vehicles.

When you are rolling down the road, nailing the throttle just sends an application form in the mail, asking for the approval of proper permits. When those permits are received, it then sends a fax to the transmission, letting it know that it's ok to downshift and carry on with the current operations, as needed.
