Where do I fine starter cable and other wires?

I need a new POSITIVE battery cable / solenoid cable for my 1987 GMC V1500. I’ve searched the internet and don’t come up with anything that looks like the original. Anybody know the AC Delco part number? Would also be ok with other brand if good quality.

Apparently there are other ground or fuse wires that attached to the solenoid I might want to replace at the same time. Anybody got info in that?

Auto parts stores sell all size of battery cables. Some premade with ends in varying lengths, but other than that, they sell rolls by the foot and you just put your own ends on them.

The positive cable on my ‘75 is simply a cable with the side post battery fitting on one end, and a lug for the starter terminal on the other. It routes down toward the fuel pump and then along the oil pan flange to the starter. It’s nothing complicated.

RockAuto show the positive cable for your truck as Delco 4SD65X and it’s about $21.
