Where can i find the "frame" number?

I'm having a hard time locating the frame number needed to get my past the inspection.
I've found the chassienumber just not the one on the frame

Located on top of frame rail, just behind passenger side fenderwell. Its the "hidden" number that everyone knows about.

Was out and looking for it today but i still could not locate it.
Can someone be kind and help me with a picture?

Can someone show me a pic of where i can find the "hidden number" on the frame?
Got inspectiontime on monday the 18th so i'd like to find it :/

On upper part of passenger side frame, between cab and frame. Difficult to see without the use of a small mirror and flashlight. Chevy stamps it there and makes it hard to find/see. It is located on frame between passenger side fenderwell and front of door. Its small, but its there.

Oh i forgot to say that i have a c10 1978 if that changes anything.

Ok i can't locate it. I've checked as long as i could with a mirror and flashlight on top of the frame on the passanger side. Is it on top of the frame between the frame and cab or am i searching on the wrong spot?

If i were to stamp new frame vin is it important where i stamp it?
