I pulled the hub apart on my 86 and it is full of metal. The spanner nuts were both loose. My question is isnt there suppose to be a cup/washer between the spanner nut and the outside wheel bearing. If im not mistaking the other side has one.

If so does any one know where I can get one or will it be ok for the outer bearing to ride on the spanner nut.

86 K10 btw.

Ok I bought new hardware b/c mine was missing the peg. But is there suppose to be anything between the bearing and the first spanner nut you install?

Not that I can recall. Another piece of advice I wanted to offer is tighten the living **** out of the outside nut when you are done, I had one back off.
