My 84 C20 with 454/Th400 gets about 8 around town sometimes 9, and well over 12 on the hwy, usually 13.2 most of the time depending on wind out to my dads property.

This is my last fillup of city mileage from my 1988 suburban. I have about 6000 dollars in just the drive train swap though.

This looks like a cool Ap. I wonder if it's available for Android. Did you buy it?

Im pretty sure I paid for it. Don't recall how much. You can also log repairs and oil changes.

I have the android version and its called "Fuel-log". I used it last fall for tracking all the driving I was doing. I was getting high 16mpg and the lowest was 12 during a severe wind storm.

Really simple to use, just enter data every time you fill up. Type in the mileage and how many gallons you used and everything is calculated.

Fuel economy was the only reason I went with a 4bt and the fact the 350 was really worn out. That app is a great way to keep track of what she's doing.

If gives me the idea, GPS's should have this feature, since a GPS has a way of tracking your mileage. Just plug in your gallon ans go.

That's not do bad really, but I'd consider it should have gotten a bit better being considering it's a light duty truck compared to the medium duty roll backs I drive. The Peterbuilt is getting 7.2-7.8 and the C6500 with the Cat 3126 is just over 7 the times I've checked it. That's for full 70 gallon tanks, so not broke down into loaded or unloaded, pulling single or double. I honestly think they probably get about the same loaded or empty, the difference will depnd on wind like my E350 box van with the 460. Gets 7-8 against the wind and can get 12 with the wind, loaded or empty doesn't matter, all the same.

Averaging 15 mpg... about half on the highway at 65 mph... the rest in town. That's with the AC running... ain't bad for a 26 year old truck with a 305 and quadrajet. :)

Yea i rarely got to fill the tank since the boss never had any money to hand out. I found out the other day that that compant went under about 2 weeks ago, they ran about 70 tows with no insurance with their license suspended.

Oh ****. And fines they risk per tow @ 70 tows. That in itself would be enough to put any wrecker service under if they got caught.

Well, on my 84 C20 I am getting about 12.5 average. It is the 8600 GVWR model. I have a quadrajet on my LT9 350 and it is hooked up to a TH400 tranny. The rear end ratio is a 3.42.

87 TBI 350, 60/14 axles, 6" lift, 37x12.5 and 4.56 gears. I get between 10-12 mpgs in town depending how much skinny pedal I use. Don't do enough highway miles to determine that.
