3 of my 4 are in driving condition. The Blazer still runs and drives, but it doesn't like it (wiped exhaust lobe). Plan on picking up a Vortec 454 for it, so it should be back on the road in the spring.
Yep, you got me beat. Only 2 of my 7 are running, of those 2 only will I jump in and leave state in. Actually, mine will be trimmed to 5, maybe 4. 1 is being scrapped soon when I sell off all the parts, which means there might not be much to scrap. Last one I did like this, I sold 100% of it, but this cab has a couple rust spots so it'll likley go to scrap. 2 of mine are to be consolidated to make 1. and 84 C20 and an 85 C20. One was burnt, and one was hit front and rear with bent frame, so those 2 make 1 and making a SB redneck trailer out of whats left and scrap the rest. I say maybe 4, cuz I might ditch my 85 K10 now since I have the 85 K1500 but I want a K5 and no need for a humpteen trucks when 5 is overdoing it. But I have to many ideas and just not enough cash. Don't you guys feel sorry for me??? You need my paypal addy???
I'll like that 454 Vortec project. I have wanted to do that same since I want to do a Vortec project but the 350 uses a spider and renders you at just about no upgrades availalbe and very limited to marine parts. The 454 Vortec, uses a rail and you can actually put oversize FORD injectors on the rail and add some adders, like headers, flowmasters, air intake and a power tune and get something out of it. I also still want to do my Chevroldslet project with a 68 455 and 67 Variable Pitch Stall Turbo 400 too.
