I am working on refurbishing my heater controls, heater box, and etc and I found a metal "box" above the heater box and mounted to the under side of the metal dash. It has an electrical plug connected. What is it? I'll take a pic if no one knows off the top of their head

Might wanna save that module for some poor Californian that needs to get their truck up to snuff for emissions. While they still have internal combustion vehicles there, anyway.

I hear Tesla’s working on replacement engines for all makes and models.
But I wonder how much “emissions” go into the air when them battery’s become externally combustible and dump **** into the air for an hour and a half before the fire department can extinguish it.

Probably less than the coal fired power plant that generates the juice that recharges the battery every night
