I mostly use just basic autolites in my sbc's, mostly because at least half of my previous burnt oil from sucking it in at the guides, lol. The autolites would be almost gobbed over and still firing before I would have to clean them where most of the delco or NKG's would be dead in the water with that much junk built up. I run bosch plat's in my 3 and 4 bangers just fine, but had no luck in a v8 with them. Right now running the accel shortys in my 86 to clear the headers better, don't really like them as a plug though.

Cough, cough, lawnmower plug cough, cough. :emotions33:

That’s like saying nothing runs like a Deere....with a CAT chasing it lol

Bah. You guys don' know nuffin!

Copper core plugs are copper core plugs. Aint no real difference if its an old school big-single electrode jobby. Champions are cheap and wear like iron.

They used to make "truck plugs" that were even beefier but they stopped years ago.

All I know is these buggers work damn good!

lol. A copper plug should be a copper plug. I just couldn't resist the easy shot at Champion.

Yeah, but Joe Blow goes into his local Advance Auto for tune-up parts for his Malibu. Chances are good he's going to walk out of there with a set of store brand wires and a pack of Bosch Platinums. And a few months later on a rainy day, will get a random misfire and a flashing check engine light.
poor joe blow! he don't know no better
