what raditor do i need.

Hey guys, I need to get the correct size radaitor for my 1986 chevy k20 and im night sure witch one i need. local race shop told me there are 2 different sizes that will work. When i bought the truck the radator the kid gave me workes but it doesnt line up with the hold dones at alll.

Well, in '86 with stock parts you can tell by the upper radiator mounting panel. If it's plastic and part of the fan shroud, it's the shorter radiator. If it's a stamped metal panel that the shroud bolts onto, it's the taller radiator... generally found only in the big-block trucks.
