My oldest daughter got me this for my birthday
Got something similar. My 6 year old grandson was amazed at how it worked. He put on his hard hat and was testing all the walls, counters, and floors lol.

I was thinking about going to NAPA in the morning and getting the set...

You may find that you really like them. I don't think it changes grip force at all, but more of just a personal preference.

Are these worth a crap? Cheaper set? I tend to put my oil filters on too tight since I don't wanna lose oil because of a filter not tight enough.

I guess those are for later model rigs than my old stuff.... I get by just fine with the AC cup wrench that fits the AC Chevy oil filter.

Yeh a pair of channel locks has worked for years, but with the engine swaps and "her" different vehicles I thought it was time to ask lol. If anything, she'll get over $45 and like it.

Nice synchrowave @CalSgt !

Just picked up one of these from HF for the shop, green was my first pick, but they didn't have stock (not surprised as they seems to be the most popular color). Went with orange.

Love mine. It is really handy. I wanted red, but ended up with grey.

Got the pistol grip needle nose pliers from Napa. Also got SAE, and Metric line wrench from my local Ace hardware. 28.00 a set. I have had a hodge podge of cheap line wrench.

Finally got my tools I ordered at the beginning of the month the 4th to be precise. Not the companies fault, F-ing UPS. Anyways finally got around to replacing my pneumatic drill. (loaned it to a buddy, never got it back). Also got a set of 1/4 inch Nano ratchet and bit driver. My neighbor has this set, helping him work on his sons truck it is a handy little tool.

Effing UPS is right! That company has caused tons of returns, resending of replacement orders, repeat. Our two-person fam has had 4 packages make it to town only to have UPS slap a return label on the package and send it back. Leaving us to either get a refund or have a replacement order shipped out in hopes of a different outcome
