What new tools have you got lately?

I bought a new screwdriver set to replace my trusty old orange handled set. Also bought a pair of carbide scrapers a while ago and some locking pipe wrench type pliers. The locking pliers are great for adjusting tie rods quickly and easily.

@bucket Have had one of those "pipe wrench" style pliers for years....and you are absolutely right. They work great on tie rod sleeves for adjusting toe. They will also loosen almost anything that is too tight for crescents, open end, box end sockets.....anything....they work!!!!

Sorry, keeping them lol. I'm attempting to put together a decent set of tools for my other garage so I can work out of it too. I don't have the energy to be constantly carrying a bunch of tools 75+ feet away. Or the brain power to remember where I left anything, lol.

Oh yeah, I don’t blame you. No such thing as too many tools. lol

Seriously, that hard handle set with the ratchet screwdriver is a rare set and worth a lot. I would not let that go.

The band saw and stand were on sale. The stand can be in a horizontal or vertical position, which I thought was nice.

Trying out this dust collector. $100off rebate on it. It gets good reviews, but the price seems too good to be true. Nothing like the dust collectors that I’m used to seeing at real mill works shops. They typically empty into a modified horse or stock trailer and fill it up rather quickly.

I didn’t know there was an actual hobo hut. The letterhead is blurry when you zoom in. Now I’ll have to look the place up.

Here is a pic of the filler piece I added on my Burb. This replaces the old crappy plastic one that GM used to cover the gap between the bumper and the body. I used brushed stainless steel and made a clone of the old plastic one

I added a jump seat/center console from a 2012 Silverado. The seats are from a 2004 Yukon which are fully electric. I added the seats a couple years ago with a small center console from a Chrysler mini van but the Silverado jump seat fills the space much better and is more useful. I upholstered the seats myself but only had enough left over material for the top of the jump seat,
