Used to use one of those dragon heaters at work, just like that. That thing was great.
Wed heat up a 40ft x 100ft long room from 0° to about 60° in an hour or so.
If set the bucket of mud right infront of it, and I'd be soft as baby **** in no time.
Loud as hell though, damn that thing sounded like a jet engine ready to take off. We used diesel I think, fumes weren't too bad. Good tool.
They sure are loud, but that's my best option and what I've been doing for years, the old one worked great when it wanted to, but could only run half of the fuels as the new one and it didn't ever start for me like the new one. Great for heating up this two stall. I've used diesel and kerosene, kerosene is just too expensive and they burn it faster.

My neighbor just tossed one of those heaters.

Scavenger that I am, I grabbed it from the curb and took it apart. Air pump was grenaded.

So, I "invested" $20 between a pump and a filter kit. It took a few other tweaks. Like putting the burner can in an arbor press to square up the baffle. Lord knows how they pulled that out, but it works pretty good now.

This one is a 70K BTU and it's been working okay, but the tank is not that clean and it tends to starve out and quit sometimes. Let it sit for a bit and it gets back to business for a bit until it repeats the performance. When the weather is a little warmer, I'll chase after cleaning it.

We also recovered a 155K BTU unit that had been abandoned at a job site. Really nice piece, but it will roast your biscuits if you're not keeping after it. Great for creating a baked enamel finish on things too.
Mine had a few issues, the spark plug threads were stripped out, and was having fuel delivery issues. Then it quit pumping fuel all together, I didn't wanna mess with it anymore. I would spend an hour and a half or two hours just to get the heater going in my garage, then wait for it to get warm enough, there goes half my night lol. The new one is the cats meow.

I think my pump is about to do that. The last couple times I ran it, there was all kinds of racket for the first 30-40 seconds and the pump pressure was bouncing all around.

Figures, I just got the little bastard running again this year. It pissed me off two years ago and I didn't even screw with it last year.

My 40 year old Harbor Freight floor jack failed, so I got a new Harbor Freight jack. I could probably have resealed the pump but I decided to retire it and see if I can make something handy with the carcass. Got the long reach high lift Daytona. Also bought a nice set of German wood handled Felo screwdrivers.

Most of the cars I've owned have been imports, usually VWs. So, I had to pay a visit to the local Ace to grab a set of SAE sockets and combo wrenches to start my new collection.
Also, I should never enter a Harbor Freight store... It's like crack. I know I don't need it. I know it's terrible for me and I'll be miserable later. But I gotta have it!!! lol

The base plate to mount my Shrinker/Stretcher is heavy duty, and well made...Except the crappy bolts they sent to bolt the Shrinker/Stretcher to the plate...They will be replaced with grade 8 bolts.

The light system is one of those...I didn't know I needed it until I was helping my neighbor put a motor in his drag truck, and he has something similar.

I picked this little staple gun up the other day when it was on sale for $19.99.
I have wanted one for a while, just unwilling to pay the full price.

We put it right to work as we worked on rebuilding the storage space floor above the garage in the rafters.
I have lived here for 22 years and have never done anything but put sheeit up there and forget about it.
The other day I notice some of the pathetic wood that the PO put up there is not happy and quite flimsy.

So I have been keeping an eye out for some pallets and picked a couple of them up and dismantled them into usable pieces. They were quickly repurposed and installed with screws into the main lumber and the staple gun holding down the floor boards like a champ!

Here is the underside.
I installed the 2x4's and the 2x6's on the left.
There was only one 2x6 and some 1x3's up there before to support the thin plywood that flexed like crazy when you were up there.

I got a double jaw ratchet style electrical crimper. No comparison to my old crimper. Definitely worth having if your doing complete wiring harness.
