What new tools have you got lately?

I picked up this new rustproofing sprayer kit for a buddy of mine as a Christmas Present.

That’s awesome! Was cheaper than my rustproofing solution....moving out of the salt belt, lol!

Don’t have any pics but Santa (and my wonderful) family came loaded with tools for dad this Xmas.
Haven’t opened most of them as they didn’t fit in the overhead compartment of a 737.
I gots
LED cordless trouble light.
ARB deflator
New creeper
Another rolling work stool. (My son picked it out so he can “Have” the old one,lol)
AND a topside creeper!!
I don’t know what I’ll doo not having to stand on a bucket or ladder, have it slide out from under me, impale myself on the hood latch, kneel on radiator support all while trying to not fall into the engine bay head first!

I hope it’s tall enough for the new truck cause the shodozer is a b!tch to get to anything under the hood if you’re less than 7’-8” tall!

I've never heard of a topside creeper until seeing your post, I had to look it up. Holy crap what an awesome idea, I need one now!

Picked up a trim removal set.Guess it was time to get away from screwdrivers and prybars.Found a trick little set at Advanced Auto.6 piece set,made in USA.That’s what really sold it.

However,really in the market for a impact.Watching people use the battery operated guns definitely makes the case against dragging around the air hose.

Since I have the Dewalt drill and driver,it’s obviously the economical choice.I don’t see many people using dewalt impacts.Milwaukee seems to be the ticket.

Well, over the last couple months, I have been replacing my 3/8 and 1/2 inch sockets/wrenches, box end wrenches and screwdrivers which were a mixture of mixmaster all kinds of makers. Started buying used S-K tools on Etsy and EeeeBay. Basically I will have a good set of tools for wrenching at home and a mixy mixmasterton adequate set to keep in the Suburban for those roadside fix exercises.

Haven't needed any new tools, I have damn near every tool known to man.But read where some of you are having trouble working topside on their trucks. I have 1 of these. It's almost 2am and not going to the shop to take a pic of mine but thought I'd put this up for those that didn't know about them. Good for engine work, unloading the bed or putting stuff on top of a burb.I bought mine almost 20 years ago, beats the hell out of buckets flipping out from under you. Easy enough to build one.

I've got a lot of experience with the Dewalt impacts. 100% go with the brushless XR version. I've got the 1/2" drive version and so do at least 5 of my friends/coworkers. They work really well. While other brands may be just as good, they are not better. It only makes sense to go Dewalt when you already have those batteries and chargers.

I've also got a 3/8" drive impact that I got with a mail-in rebate. It's not an XR, but it works much better than I expected it would. But for 1/2", the non-XR impact is bulky and unimpressive.

I have a dewalt 20v max 1/4 impact driver that has become my go to tool for rust removal, and any other jobs it has 3 settings so your not breaking things. I just added a DA sander from dewalt.

Not necessarily a tool, perse, but it'll keep the liquids inside my 50s vintage Thermos. The original stopper cracked and I found a NOS stopper on ebay.

The 1/2” High Torque Milwaukee is the bees knees. Had mine for almost 3 years now and it’s a beast.

For sure. I really didn't want to toss a perfectly good good Thermos just because of the stopper.
