What new tools have you got lately?

FRIEND GAVE ME SOME TOOLS AND A PULLER THAT WAS LEFT IN HIS BARN WHEN HE BOUGHT THE PROPERTY, MOST ARE LARGE SIZES UP TO 2 INCHES I WAS A HAPPY CAMPER! ALREADY USED SOME OF THEM REBUILDING A VTWIN ENGINE KAWASAKI. 1 1/8 INCH AND 1 INCH. THEY ROCK, ALL QUALITY TOOLS . FROM TRACTOR REPAIRS .

Stuff I'll actually use, a couple of Mac pry bars and a non brand 2 lb dead blow hammer - no pics, nothing exciting.

I recently got this wood band saw that belonged to my grandfather (career carpenter), it's been sitting for close to 30 years and I wanted to try and convert it to cut metal. I didn't know anything about it and just remembered it was there when I was a pesky kid in the 70's. It turns out to be a 1930's Walker Turner "snowflake" saw, really cool! It's in good working order except for bearings in the electric motor, a belt and maintenance stuff. No more plans to convert it, I'm just going to clean it up and keep it.

SO GLAD YOU HAVE A "FEELING" FOR FAMILY ITEMS, ITS IMPORTANT, THANKS FOR SHARING . PS THAT COST A LOT OF HARD EARNED MONEY IN THE 30'S WHEN MONEY WAS SHORT.

Milwaukee M18 fuel 1/2 drive cordless impact this morning.Had enough of my Snap On 18 volt taking a dump at work being sent in for repairs too many times

Ive got a kobalt 24V 1/2 drive electric impact i got on sale for a steal since lowes was ditching kobalt for craftsman, good tool so far!! It also came with the tool, battery, charger and carry bag.

Nothing fancy by any means, but it seems to work, and allowed me to do some testing- emission crap. EGR specifically, but apparently when it doesn't work it causes clatter.

Don't understand that, but the books seem to believe it, and I want the clatter gone.

Got a Harbor Freight sandblast cabinet a while ago, and like most of their stuff, it can be modified. Here's the blaster

I'm sure some of you have one of these. The first thing I did during assembly was to silicone all the mating surfaces instead of that crap tape they supply. Then after a few plastic-window-saver-thing changes later I came up with an idea to not have to lean in and try and get the nuts off the window screws. I went down to my local Menard's and picked up some 1/4x1" steel slat. Measured the window opening and welded up a frame. Drilled holes in the top and side centers and bolted it on (the nuts in the pic). Then marked where to drill and tap for #8-32 screws using the existing holes around the window frame. Now I can do window changes from the top, never having to lean inside or drop nuts and washers into the grit.

I like it. Make sure you have lots of blast media. I'm running 80 grit and put about 50lbs in. It fills up a 5 gal pail pretty easily. I run it until it clogs the gun then drain it into the bucket and revolve another 50lbs. Also make sure you have a shop vac hooked up it gets cloudy in there real quick. The light sucks too. I'll take a pic of what I do later, it's at work. As far as a compressor I use the one at the shop, it's 100hp @125psi lol

Picked this guy up. Should come in handy. Goes up to 24”, I figure if I need more I could put some stacked up 3/4” ply under it.
