So I wanted to burn some weeds and grass. Went on Amazon and picked one up. It came in today and I hooked up the hose to the propane bottle and the handle. Turned on the propane and immediately turned it off due to massive leaks at both ends of the hose. Got some sealant and applied to the threads, and still massive leaks. Determined the leaks were not coming from the threads but from the crimp connections. Pulled on them and they came off the barbed fittings inside easily. WHAT?! What was somebody thinking when they designed this death trap? I cut the crimps off and used worm clamps to reattach the hose. All good now. Good thing there wasn't a flame nearby when I turned the propane on or I wouldn't be writing this post.

I went into 4 different places and they all required it. I told them I've had an EPA certification for 3 decades and they still wouldn't sell it to me, because I didn't have a commercial acct. Went back to the shop and grabbed a 30lb jug. I only needed 3 ozs.
Well, I just had the same experience but I called first. We are getting our first 80F days this weekend on the west side, and the truck is acting like it could use to be topped off. And I know the wife's van needs a top off too. Ended up grabbing a spare 30lb, from the shop...

Had to go buy a set of Torx sockets. And saw the small head 3/8 ratchet, with locking angle head...had to have it.

Cheap spring clamp pliers off Amazon, work good. Also made a home made trap out of a washer bottle to keep fluid from spilling all over replacing the overflow tank in my Tahoe.

I bought a cheap siphon pump to drain my radiator. I've already used it more than I thought I would need to.

I don't remember who, but somebody recommended this pick for removing a radiator hose.

I'm not sure what the technical name is, but I bought this "ratchet wheel" hoping it will help the next time I need to change spark plug on #8 on my Nova.

I have had one of those picks for years and years. I want to say one of my daughters bought it for me...Birthday...Fathers day. Yes it it a great tool for running around inside of a hose to break it loose.

I think they call them a palm ratchet, or a finger ratchet something like that. I have one for 1/4, 3/8. and 1/2. I use the 1/4 the most, but a great addition to the tool box.

Well it's not new but I got this socket back yesterday, been missing for about a year and a half. If you can't read it, I'll still bet you can guess what size it is...

I vividly remember the day where it vanished right in front of me. Makes sense now.
