I think it'd work well on them. Then mothers Polish if you want the shiny aluminum look. Otherwise you could go with the clean aluminum look. I like both.

I have the mothers power cone and polish but never cleaned them. Theyre pretty well oxidized.

Scroungin at the local community aid store (kinda like salvation army) i came upon this 18v ryobi drill for $4. Bein as i have the sawzall and batteries already i figured i couldnt beat the price, so i brought it home. Works great too.

I bought a used toolbox off the rape truck today. Now I have to figure out how it's going to fit in the garage with my 3 other toolboxes.

I bought a ratchet too, one that the head locks into various offset positions. Didn't get a picture of it though.

Got a bunch of pry bars, tile scrapers and chisels, and some new dry wall tools to rip out the backsplash and countertops. Had to buy a cut off wheel and carbide blades for the sawzall to cut up the old corian countertops. Finally finished up right as the countertop installers showed up.

Saved $700 on labor of having them remove everything. Cost me about $300 and probably 40 hours of work. Oh well at least I got some new tools

The ratchet is pretty cool, I don't think they made them when I was still working in the auto shop. The head can lock in place at maybe 10° increments or less.

No more bad flares on my brake lines or redoing them 7 times because of el cheapo tools. Works with stainless tubes too.

Just picked up these must haves! Picked up the jump pack since my other cheaper one took a crap.

The jump pack is the same one we used at the shop, used it to start lawnmowers all the way up to full size tractors and semis. That was back in 2010 so who knows if they're still as good, but I hope so.

Seems the exact same. The jaws are hot on both sides of the clamp, they have a really good clamp load. The 12v cigarette input to charge the pack and charge whatever you want. Auto charge. Status indicator. 48 inch cables I believe, the holders rotate as well.

Also got an IR little air saw. I love these little air saws, basically a fine use mini hacksaw. Great for plastics and metal, usually some kind of fabrication or small project. I'll be using this for my speakers in the rear air box for my suburban. Countless other times as well.
