Good to hear. When I look in to Eatons Differential Application Guide they show two types that both shall fit to my axle (S.F. 14 bolt 9.5) The list says:
K-GM9.5-96 GM 9.5" Rear Master Install kit, Fits 1996 & Older Applications 225C135A and 914A538. Does anyone know what the difference is between those?

I believe it’s the yoke/pinion seal design changed, the later ones are a triple lip seal.

I totally agree - with the same results.

MY Eaton works in Reverse as well as Forward --- I cannot see how it could be any different ...

It is a worm-drive and it's the difference in speed from the spiders to the carrier that would lock up in either direction.

Sounds good. I haven't ordered yet, but I'm getting close.
All the best from southern Sweden where spring has arrived.
