I'm contemplating how to repair cracks in my dash pad. There are some excellent posts on this forum on how to do this!!
However, I searched for an answer to my specific question but didn't find anything.
Does anyone know the composition of a green colored insulator or wax like substance installed by the factory on the underside of the dash pad? Some of mine is missing, and there is rust on the uncovered areas. See pics below.
