I know that it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay, but what seems to be a realistic price?

There is an auction coming up that has a new grill listed, appears to be a NOS 75-80 grill. I won't be positive until I look at it next week. Not sure how to tell exactly what year it's for, LMC shows two different ones that look like the same style, are these years all the same? My 78 has a broken grill and I was thinking of using a tube grill, but may go original if the price is right.

There are also a lot of random parts, so may be some other NOS squarebody stuff (looks like possibly a lower grill panel), but I'll have to dig through them to see what's there.

If it were a GMC it would probably be $600 or more.

There different. 80 is a one off year. 78-79 were the same. And 78-80 use the same mounts and I believe prior to those it's different grill supports.

This PDF shows the different years but the mounts for them vary slightly. You can get the idea which ones work togeather with the year mounts. A 74 grill works in a 78 but I think you need to swap the mounts cause the holes don't line up . I have a 79 grill in my 80 cause it was original and 80 is a one off year and not as common.

Yeah, it's a 77-79, can't tell the difference in years from the pic, looks like it has the original box. Guess I'll see what it goes for and buy it if the price is right. I hope it's a 78 cause that is what I need. Anyone know where I can find part numbers so I can tell exactly what it is?

'77-'79 are the exact same grille, the only variation was the color.

It was still available through the dealer well into the 00's, so it's probably the most common type of grille to find NOS.

I've seen them up to $550! But most people want the Chrome versions... Which are very hard to come by.

What would you take for the 'OVERSIZE LOAD' sign?
