Nah. I'm pretty well familiar with the various automotive hardware that's available and I could still only think of the one type washer for sure.

Last night was pondering finally doing the radiator flush, since in warm weather will get a smidge above 210 with a 160 degree thermostat.

That thought was remedied by a little puddle of green and some dampness on the very bottom of the core support, and the hoses and spigot are all dry. I guess 42 years is a reasonable service life for a radiator.

So I let my fingers do the walking to the Cold Case website, and used the “vicegrip “ coupon on checkout for free shipping.

Speaking of Vice Grip, a feller is going to lay low today and rewatch some old episodes and try to recover from this cold, since I have three 12 hour shifts starting tomorrow.

Depends on the build an the look we are after. It will basically look stock if you paint it.

Bed pushed back to allow me to sand, paint and upgrade fuel system. Hopefully, I will get a warm day after tomorrow since it’s supposed to get cold and I won’t have time tomorrow to get r done. Since I’m working solo, I removed the bumper. It wasn’t too bad pushing it backwards.

New shoes came in last night. Definitely need a narrower track width in the front or the 5.25 backspace wheels. Less than 1/2" clearance stock spindles and 4.5" backspacing on 8.5 wide rim.

Great looking wheel! Perfect choice. Yes, the backspace is so important! especially on the front. ya never want them “sticking out” your truck looks beautiful.
