I've been there....with the exact same mistake.
Well, that at least makes me feel better that it’s happened to you and that was the fix. I’ll definitely dig into it this weekend between baseball tourney games. Chose not to worry about it tonight since it is raining lol

Windshield wipers freaking out  I just put in a new windshield wiper motor this week. Now my wipers are trying to wipe BACKWARDS??? I tested the motor without the wipers on so didn’t notice this until now when it’s raining :banghead: Anyone had this happen and know what’s up?? One plug can be plugged in either way but I’ve tested and it doesn’t matter which way it’s connected plugged in :nutkick:

Any ideas???
u got the blades on backwards :happy160:

yeah, pretty straight forward fix if you dont mind doing it twice :)

run wipers and let them parup at top if sweep. unbolt motor. unhook linkage. move linkage to proper park position for wipers. hook up linkage to motor. bolt on motor.

Rainy day fun. Changed oil and filter (no April Fools oil this time lmao) and gave it a wax job since planning to find a Cruise-In somewhere tomorrow night.

Diff subject but related to my response (thought I'd share), but my mower wasn't cutting it so I got some new blades for the JD D110. High lift, worked great mulching leaves and the yard looked great.

Late season last year, I needed to clean the deck. Got all the grass from underneath.....thats when I noticed....

The green side of the blade was the rounded edge....all the "dings" from stumps and sticks were on the rounded edge. I thought....no way.

Yup.....I put them on blade side up. So I whacked my grass for a year instead of cutting it lol. Good thing is after 1 year of use.....I have a brand new set of blades for this year :)

I've seen that before. You're not the only one. I worked in the small engine world 5 years for a living and my favorite one was after selling someone new chainsaw chains and they came back to complain about it not cutting and i see that they have the chain backwards.. I think I'm guilty of that one once lol

I cleaned my shop up a bit. Did a crap ton on sweeping. Rearranged my trucks. This way I can move the Blazer around any way I need it.

Just a little paint and things start to look nice! I plan on plugging all the extra emission holes in the valve cover, for now, tilll I replace this head with an early head. I'd like to cut these valve covers to remove the humps, but not until I prove that the new emissions setup works OK.

Well, took it to HEB and either the torque converter or transmission is acting strange. It was vibrating and bolging when I gave it gas. I hope it's the tc rather than transmission. Both are new. Very few miles.

The tc was a 2200 one which may have been a little bit high because it wouldn't shift until 2200rpm. Think maybe a 1700 might work better I'm not sure. Fck me! Why can't I just take it to the store like always with no problems?

Had the joy of changing the wheel cylinder on my 83 cab and chassis had 2 harbor freight jacks fail on me and had to bust out the ViseGrips and a torch after wards could not get the rear to bleed even with vaccum turns out it was the proportioning valve was blocking the flow bled the front and heard a audible spring/click and the valve reset and rear was getting fluid again :driver:
