Picked her up from the shop. New rear spring bushings, new sway bar bushings, reman power steering pump - apparently the old one was leaking multiple places, and an alignment . The steering pump was a surprise- the rest is trying to get that good on center feel. Felt better on the way home- we will see tomorrow on the highway.

I'll check the color in the light, but it looks close, and has the sewn in pleats.

Only gripe so far is no buttons, but I bet the upholstery shop can transfer my old ones.

Here's the old one, and the buttons.

That’s a lot of cfms for a stock engine;).
Here’s something visual while you’re sipping on some suds.

Fitted new Monroe Gas rear shock absorbers, what a difference in ride. The old shocks were well and truly shagged. The rebuilt Quadrajet arrived this week

Just purchased a richmond 4.10 ring and pinion master install set for my burb.

Ill do the overhaul and regear over the holidays.

Considering the investment in the infamous 600hp 700r4 i have, i wanna squeeze on motor and rear end, less on my trans when towing.

Eventually i'll also add a tru-cool 40k cooler and trans temp gauge.

I got bored so I pulled the oil pan/sump off of my trucks original blown up motor.

While I was at it, I knocked out the melted piston and found the bore to be untouched, and the rod bearing even looked almost brand new.

One piston, a ring set for it, and a rod bearing ought to fix it right up. I may or may not keep it though since I can't just have another motor laying around.
 DAMN!!!!!

Pulled the Trans brace out of the bed because it kept flying around back there the way I drive. Lol

Anyone need it? Let me know cause I don't. No rust on it. Well, a little surface rust. I'll even sand and paint it for ya if you want.

You might be right. When I was under the truck it looks like the one that holds the Trans and it's a 2wd.

Yea it is, and I am planning on doing that.

I just have to decide if I want to beeline it or not. I like the yellow wheel tubs/inner'bedsides, but berliner would protect it so well. I might just beeline the floor itself and repaint the wheel wells.
Idk of you have one near you but i know line-x does color spray liners.
