More timing tweaks- backed it down to 7 BTDC ( clatter is back, dammit ) and dog city. Put it to 9 tonight - clatter be damned.

Also discovered the joy of Seafoam- sucked in thru the little cruise hole.

Smoke, oh my - LMAO playing mosquito fogger .

Then, adjusted the idle .

Experiments over fir the moment.

Ordered one of these today so I can think about getting my exhaust done. I’m going with A-body headers and figured I should just change this now to get the exhaust up a little higher for when it gets lowered.

I’ve got a bunch of stuff sitting in my cart at Summit trying to get a bigger order since they are doing a one time 10% account credit up to $100 if you use your Summit card.

Those look sexy. Mine uses the stock xmember. It’s causes my exhaust to drop below the frame in that spot but the rest is nice n tucked. But I really wish I spent the money and bought one.

I am undecided about 2.5” or 3” exhaust so I thought this was the way to go. I’ll probably go 2.5” but we’ll see when the time comes.

Got around to sanding, primering and painting my 'Winter hood" as there was a nice warm breeze through the carport today. Yes, I change my hood between winter and summer, lol. Didn't come out to bad for a rattle can job. Numerous adult beverages were consumed between coats of primer (3) and gloss Shadow Gray (6).

Did some more Seafoam at lunch and let it sit until 5, when I left.

Probably got 1 more treatment left in the can.

Got home and played with the idle speed a bit more, and noticed a tire that looked low.

Yup - a nail in it, too .

Too late to hit Discount, so shot some FixaFlat in it, drove it a mile or so, and retopped off the tire.

We see how it looks tomorrow.

Got my air horn installed under the hood and working. Just need to tidy up wires and screw the button to the dash. I decided just to buy a button rather trying to chase horn wire. Kinda proud I figured out the wiring because I'm not too familiar with relays. One step closer to getting my safety inspection and get plates and tags.

Added a wideband O2 gauge to help with the tuning. temporary mounted with velcro , I will most likely remove it when im done tuning it.
