When I first saw all those sticks, I thought maybe you had a Lenco.

Poor man’s Lenco. It’s a Kilduff shifter. Patterned after the old Hurst lightning rod shifter but no buttons to push on the sticks. Pretty good guy to deal with. Builds to your specs. Lot of haters out there on his stuff tho.

Found a shop in north texas with a parted out 90 burb. The owner graciously told me to grab some wrenches and take what I want for mine. Walked away with lots of goodies and going back for more. The back of our burban is full of parts that'll be needed down the road. If anyone is up here near Celina there is some good stuff to be had for any square.

How do I tell if I have the th350 or the 350c I had to Google it, I didn't know they had two versions.

I have no idea which one I have. I don't have a tach nor do I really notice anything. Y'all have me wondering. There is a random plug that hangs on a wore from above my transmission and the two prong connector hits the pipe and is a bit melted. There is also a random plastic plug on the side of it on the driver side that has nothing in it. Looks like a plastic round connector of some sort?

I have looked up the part numbers that denote which version it is but I can't find part numbers anywhere on mine in any of the spots I saw listed.

Ok I figured it out. Read the sticky in the trans section on th350.

I have the connector for a th350c but someone must of swapped a th350 non lockup into it as there is no plug on the trans.

I wonder if I had the lockup version I might see a small maybe 1mpg increase?

Soon after this, I decided to buy a new door.

The original one had been Hacked N' Packed pretty bad, and the door skin was seperating from the rest of the door. not to mention that the window had fallen off the track several times.

I said screw it and went to a not so local junk yard to get a new door.

I had nobody to help me bolt the door back on after my shenanigans, so I just held it in place with a ratchet strap for my 1 hour drive to the junkyard.

This was the only non rusty door with an intact window I could find in the whole yard.
(kinda smashed)

It is actually off a '73 so it matches up perfectly to my truck.

Some other things I got include a nice dashpad from the same truck, and a set of mirrors.

I strapped this new door on for my trip home and was delighted to finally have a window again.
(Especially in this weather)

When I got home, I proceeded to actually bolt the door, and ran into a few problems.

The door seemed to get in a bit of a fight with the fender, which is an issue that I had before after installing the new fenders.

No matter how far forwards I moved the fender, ir how far back I moved the door, they still faught each other Before, I had just let nature take its course, and smash the fender in, but this time I cut a piece of the fender out and it now closes like new.

Wet and rainy and no work today..threw in the following: new fuel filter, rear barn door light sensor switch, old but new to me door lock knobs, and front seat belts. Going into town to see about a new fangled winder shield.

Just got the frame back from being powder coated on my 73 K20 and starting to install the 4" ORD lift this week. Very happy with the quality of the ORD products. Also got the bottom of the cab Rhino lined. Finally getting it going after sitting in storage for 17 years.

Ordered it September 16, shoulda been here December 16, but they had a stabbing at the prison they’re made at and went on lockdown for awhile. The reason I went with this is because i’m constantly asked what year the truck is. My daughter for the life of her could not figure out what it said. There appears to be a gap between the L & T, so that’s what was throwing her off. It’s an illusion because the top left of the T and the bottom right of the L has the correct space between them.

Finished up cutting the holes for the power door switches. And hooked up the remote start/ alarm system.


I’m dying to get the wood grain door trim for the door panels. But all anyone has is aluminum
