It was amazon or eBay, they were around $7-$8 a piece. They’re not molded perfect to the fender but not terrible.

Well then you were correct!

It's funny because I yanked on it a few times and didn't notice it.
As soon as it was completely off the ground and running, it was obvious as hell.
I think it was mostly that ball socket joint. The ujoints didn't seem too bad.

This weekend I didn't get much done, I've been working on a cam swap for my K20. It was very hot so only got an hour or two each day working slowly.

But, I got the new cam lubed up, I got it installed with timing points facing each other, the fuel pump which was a pain to put back in, swapped the remaining valve springs and mocked up push rods.

It was hitting 95+ by 11 AM so I did what I could in the morning. Today we have a front coming in so we are expecting a high of 70. After work hopefully I can knock out the oil pan and a few more things. I cant for the life of me remember if I'm supposed to charge the lifters with oil before setting valve lash or not. Any other tips you want to offer up are welcomed.

just got it k20 1979 84 front clip. th400 not sure about t case prob a 208. 8in skyjacker 39.5 x 16.5 superswampers ZERO RUST from original owners kid garage kept day one. changing out led headlights back to stock. looking for a horn button. the small one.

I attempted to mount my rear view mirror button and it failed. Followed the directions and made certain the windshield was cleaned well and then the alcohol wipe as the instructions stated. Waited the 30 min to hand the mirror and it fell right off. Said it only needed 15 min. Was loctite brand.

Can't trust those ******* kits, I guess, but you'd think loctite would get it done.
There was no way I was trusting the double sided tape that came with my new side view mirror. Supposedly 3M branded, and it wouldn't even stick to the mirror. lol
I'd just get some quality super glue and do it up. No reason it shouldn't work.

With the store-bought glue kits, I have always given them a full 24 hours before installing the mirror.

ordered some stainless washers with neoprene on the back to use on the sun visor. Hoping that will fix my leak on the drivers side floor pan. I didn't want to slap a ton of silicon on it like the previous owner did. It's not the vent drain up by the wipers.

My understanding is that if you use superglue, the mirror can still come off, but it will take the inner layer of glass with it.

Put on a toolbox and checked torque on all new suspension stuff. Just need recheck it at 1000 miles if I still haven’t gotten my ORD springs.
