I wonder what is actually happening here... Does the foil stick to the rust to give the appearance that it's all chrome again or is the rust actually removed by the foil? What does the oil do? So weird... but it looks like it works to me so no argument just wondering how.

Nah, I think the way it works is that the actual pits themselves are very small. The rust you see is mostly the staining around them. The aluminum is softer than the chrome so it doesn’t scratch it, and the oil just acts as a lubricant and maybe a solvent to dissolve the stains.
So the pits are still there, just too small to notice. It definitely doesn’t “restore” the chrome, but makes it look a hell of a lot better.

New calipers, hoses and fixed some leaking lines. Swapped Tires had 225 75s went to 235 85s in rear and 265 75s in the front much better! Got insurance and plates today! Need to do a few things and wash it then gonna start driving the crap out it!!!

So bubblegum held my fuel tank leak (minus a few drops) this whole time. Like 2wks?
So I'm trying to rip the bed off tonight in my tiny garage, I look over, and damn.....its pissing fuel again. Lol..
I shove an oil catch pan under it and remember that someone last time asked if I could try jb weld. Well, I bought some at Walmart last week in case this happened. It's even the "quick weld" type (obviously, we're dealing with fuel here....lol).
I mix it up, let it set just a bit, wipe the area quick, and another leak starts!
So I shove the jb weld in the hole, and.........nothing.
In fact, the stuff just fell right off.
But I wouldn't give up!
I mixed another batch, didn't let it set, and just smeared it all over the holes.
I have no idea how long I have until it leaks again, but I'm safe for now.
I'm considering a second coat.

Installed a 10" auxiliary pusher fan in right front of condenser to hopefully add more cooling to condenser/radiator in preparation of Texas summer. Will find out in a few months if it will help.

Judging from the way the gas smells, I'm not sure I want it in my new tanks.

So I have 2x8 floor joists in my garage. I reinforced them with brackets and a leftover 2x4. Then I ran a 1500lb cable through 2 of them to hang the hoist on.
Then I found some eye bolts that were pretty beefy (they actually came with a toolbox this old dude gave me once), and put those on my bed.
For some reason the po had a bunch of holes on the bed rails, so I drilled a couple out a bit and used them.
4000lb straps from work, and no problem nothing even squeaked.

So I dislodge the red plastic handle and the ******* garage door slams shut.
I thought for sure it was gonna break the windows out.
That was really the only stupid thing I did tonight.
Except I knocked a bottle of PB blaster off my bed and broke the nozzle off.
Couldn't find my other can, but I found a vintage can of wd40. It's the original scent that drives women nuts, so that's really sort-of a win.

Should be available at most any auto parts store. Knead it up like dough and stick it on there. It’s made to work on wet fuel leaks too.

I used it on mine months ago just to keep it from pissing until I replace this tank and it’s still holding fine.

I'm kidding. I remember seeing that stuff before. Should have went and got some.
I've actually never had a fuel tank leak. I've had lines leak, carbs, injectors, etc, but never a tank.
