How big a deal is it to rebuild your steering gear box?mines leaking at the input shaft I know seal kits are cheaper than a rebuilt
Gear but I’m looking for the best way to fix it with the longest durability. It’s a 81 Scotty k10 nice truck just don’t wanna turn smooth
With that problem plus it’s got a squeak to it to
So give me some thoughts fellers

Probably not what you want to hear but if it giving you problems in addition to leaking I’d replace it. Could be worn internals that caused the seal failure. While you have it off it be a good time to install the frame brace too.

Installed a brand new (literally) 2004 Alpine radio/CD player. Now I just need to get some decent speakers.

Just a little bass, huh?:D

I need to make some corner enclosures for 6.5" or 6"x9" speakers for my "new" Alpine radio.

Looks nice, but if they protrude under the bumper, watch your shins!
