Picked up my headers from being sandblasted and repainted with flame proof paint. Hope it holds up.

I got new plugs, wires, cap and rotor in the r20 this weekend and it's running pretty well now (I've had it for a couple of months, and I've been slowly bringing it around and doing needed maintenance).

I pulled these out, and they seem old to me. When was the last time AC plugs were green?

found out my block heater has internally shorted out.....argh! might end up waiting to replace that until later when i do my intake gaskets as well to try and stop the rear intake oil leak.....don't really feel like draining the coolant twice.

so I have been trying to figure out a way to remove the AC belt, but replace it with a Crank/Fan/PS belt and keep my PS/Crank belt. maybe that is just overkill and I should just get the Crank/Fan/PS belt on instead. Gates 7455 seems to fit well for just the single belt option, and I suppose 2 belts is really overkill anyway?

How many miles on the engine? I wouldn't be surprised if those suckers were the originals.

It's got about 50k on it as best I can tell. It was used a bit for towing by the PO and that's about it. They could well be original, I was looking through old AC advertising, 70s and 80s seems about the last time the green stripes were used.

I must like spending money or something, I bought a full set of Michelin LTX MS/2 for my R20 (same 235/85/16 size). $125 would be a lot nicer, I'll have to try those Yokohama's out next time I get tires.

The good thing about those Michelin LTX MS/2s is they go forever!! I've heard several people say they've gotten 80k or more miles out of those tires.

Yeah, it will be a long time before you need tires.

Ordered parts needed to repair my rear A/C. Will start ordering exhaust parts soon. Also, supposed to be mild next weekend so hopefully I'll get my dumbo mirrors on soon. Been too cold recently to stand out there messing with mirrors LOL

Got the massive job done... Three and a half weekends. Tore apart the heater/a.c./vent and literally ended up completely removing everything including the instrument cluster. Holy crap... I wore a mask during teardown and clean up. Took a few days of positive ventilation to get the stink out of the shop. Huge rat nest using all of the stock padding.
Got it all back together. Smells like roses. Had to soak everything in a 55gal drum then scrubbed the heck out of it. Lots of orange degreaser to get rid of the rats body oils too. Now the weenie dog jumps in to go for a ride and isn't digging like a mad man at the heater box. Paint job is next....

Got the underside of the hood sprayed with bed liner. Now I need to find some larger head push pins to hold down the cover. Some of the mounting holes are a little off.

Got one fuel tank installed, new selector valve in place, and connected my stub hoses from the crossover lines from the other tank to the selector valve. Doesn't sound like much, but it was a PITA.
