I like that! I just bought a set of rallies and center caps that are missing most of the bolts. Been trying to decide if I was going to try to find original bolts or not, I guess I’m not lol

If I remember correctly, the screw jack handle had the right size, to fit the original hex drive bolts. In the event of a flat tire you would have all tools needed, since the lug wrench would rub on the cap if you don't remove it first.

While stuck at home due to the virus, I decided to paint my topper.

Re gasket the window. New lock strip. Tested it out last night when it rained. No leaks. Hopefully my issue there is solved for another 6-12 years.

I thought about washing all the pollen off of it. But that doesn't count cause I didn't do it I guess.
My wife did crank it up and move it to the front of the drive as my son and I cut grass (he sat in my lap with ear muffs on) around the shed it stays in so that random rocks and stuff didn't hit it. Then she moved it back into the shed for me.

Finally got around to taking the tires and wheels to the shop to have them swapped around, got 8 tires de-mounted and put the 4 like new BFG's A/T's back on the 16.5 slots and mounted and balanced this morning then spent the afternoon cleaning and polishing the wheels and painted the hubs and axle stubs back to black and put the tires and wheels back on the truck. I dunno, maybe it's just me but this truck is "home" on Aluminum Slots. Got lucky enough to find really good 16.5 tires for some horse trading and I'm back to being happy with how she looks again!

The 40 yards both ways? Probably not so much. She doesn't mind riding with me but don't thinks she likes driving it like I do . And doesn't like riding in the summer since the AC doesn't work. I have that as a goal to fix that this summer. I just have never cared to put the money into doing it on n the past. And I can do all the work myself. Have a machine and have freon. It's just me buying the parts and finding time to do it.
But I better not get caught fixing mine before I fix hers! Haha I had to add some freon to hers last year and it is low now. It's just old too. Doesn't cool as cold as I think it should even when charged exactly to the factory fill. I have a compressor , condenser, and accumulator.

My mobile sandblasting setup has been proving itself, blasted the whole firewall on the K5, lots of holes but the donor piece looks pretty good after blasting

Fixed an oil leak in the Grandsons 79 K10 yesterday. New Goodwrench crate with about 1500 miles on it, blowing oil at speed. Found the plug on the right side where the extra dipstick goes had gone missing. Evidently who ever put the engine in failed to inspect it! ..(might have been me) got that in and cleaned up the mess , let him have it back. Next I will have to tackle the power door locks and the power windows, both inoperational
