It said bonds to skin instantly so it must be NO joke! Lol only took a very light coat and about 45 seconds of pressure on it and it was holdin... gorilla glue fell off instantly. Never been one for jb weld but i think it maybe worth it...

JB Weld is good for a lot of applications. Some particular applications may or may not work well, or could be the prep. It was originated in my home town. Sulphur Springs, Texas.

After a considerable amount of cold beer finally finished the A/C box delete this afternoon, here is the end result for now. Time to throw the steaks on the grill and refill the beer cooler! Life is GOOD!

I took it off when i replaced my motor and it just never went back on due to yet another motor swap

I never keep it on anything I own. I have no real reason other than I never use it.

Also, another thing that Sulphur Springs is known for, not as big as JB Weld, the McKay Music Co. is where Don Henley of The Eagles bought his first drum set. They have been in the same location I know of since 1960, maybe longer.

Up here I only use it for a short time each year, so when it craps out I just get rid of it instead of fixing it. It's a lot easier working on the engine without that big a/c unit in the way.

Tach and MPH still not working. Drove 75 miles to pick up 3500 pounds of RR ties. And returned. Used phone for speedo.

38 psi oil
sometimes speeds up to 68 (empty)
fuel gauge needs dip switch reset. Shows 1/2 but seems to be accurate otherwise.

I removed all other a/c components when I rebuilt the engine and really rarely used it anyway. I prefer to listen to the rumble of the engine and my loud ass exhaust! Now with that big ass ugly box out of the way it will be much easier to tinker around in the engine compartment.

Sadly, no. Whatever is rattling in the front end doesn’t rattle when I’m on the brakes.

Has to be getting torqued by the brakes. Caliper, likely, or the upper control arm (bushings/ alignment shims), less likely, or upper shock stud(s)? Probably something simple.
I had a rattle on the right front. I found out the insert trim on the door was ready to fall off.

That stuff will all be gone through when I finally pull the trigger on the lowering kit. No point taking it apart twice.
