Even though they provided a good measure of protection over the years it looks better to me with the running boards gone. Bed cap will eventually go I suppose but it has added a lot of protection too.

Friday night I tried out my new color for the crew cab

So Saturday I gave it a facelift no more 80 only nose I wanted to go get a cowell hood at the swap meet today but it's to cold and rainy

The Jeep Wrangler headlights work really well.and last night a buddy of mine gave me the first of a set of GM nos rear doors can't wait to paint them

They fit in the buckets perfect and I used pigtails off of eBay with crimp tipe blade connectors slid into the stock headlight plugs

Nice! Im always looking for brighter headlights.
I must say I'm impressed with their performance better than any aftermarket I've seen and I got them for free from work so win win

We haven't seen the lifter yet, but I would guess the uneven loading caused the roller or/and cam to fail first which led to it turning.

We saw the tops of the lifters in another post, just no rollers.

Currently painting up the heads, intake manifold and doing some touch up spots on the block that got missed. Should be all good to go soon!

Gonna pressure wash the engine bay and wheel down the light rust on the frame and spray her up a rustoleum gloss black.

Painted almost all the brackets yesterday the same black.


Yet...there's no picks.

Drivers fender well to the tailgate, spare tire lives up front and front passenger side lives some sawhorses.
