Yeah, it's a late one same carb though, it is a good carb..... I'm waiting patiently, lol..

On the topic of ripping interiors apart. I just received the I insulation to cover the firewall on the suburban. Will be taking most of the dash apart. Trying to reduce the engine noise. Also will be adding under dash cover panels.

installed battery cables. Upgraded from 4 gauge to 2 gauge. WOW! Before I did, I could bump the key and it acted like the motor had bad spots/brushes here and there. Now I can't bump it w/o it starting.....every single time. LOL was actually pissin' me off cuz I wanted to keep bumping it w/o it starting.

I had to flip the battery around cuz the positive was about 6" too short. Yeh yeh....I know that's what she said lol. With the battery flipped around, I no longer have the positive close to the radiator support. Good for those "too many beverages" moments when you take the positive off first and short the wrench to ground.

Yesterday I finally got my power steering pump leak(s) fixed... I think! The canned ham style and the tank part had a big dent from...
I can't believe I must have did this but looks like I may have stuck Mr. Prybar inbetween the tank and bracket to tighten the belt and this
of course dented the can compromising the seal. I also discovered after removing the can that the high pressure line in rubber seal was buggered.
Took longer to bleed the thing than change the seals and fix the dented can. Now I have to hit the carwash with some degreaser and clean the mess from a year (hate to admit it) of leaking and adding oil. Oh well it helped keep some dust down in my back alley!

Generally im told im 6 inches too long. So i guess we have opposite problems hahah. I wish i had more money than time to work on my beautiful rusty square.

Finally started working on a leaking gas tank. My friend and I found the leak. Has anyone ever just left a tank empty and gone with one?

I only run my drivers side. When i first got my square the po didn't tell me the passenger side tank leaked. I didnt think anything different cause the passenger side pump ran when the key was turnes but not the driver side. Well long story short i watered the grass with 5 gallons of fuel.

Now no blinkers ,radio not working not one blown fuse
I mean if the ole lady would leave me alone when I’m working on it I could think right ? I told her she got to find a hobby other than talking,anybody can relate.
So anyway what u guys think now that she’s in the shower I can text in piece.
I changed out flasher relay still nothing alright my fingers tired now, y’all git bac wif me,straight talk furm hillbilly
