What have you done to your square lately??

Yeah, they are noisy, knew a guy that had a motorhome with one you heard it all the time very irritating to say the least.. Haven't seen herringbone cut gears in quite a while didn't think they even made them anymore..

Most times I come across herringbone cut gears it's on a 60s era DC crane.(like 230 v DC)

I don't remember seeing them on anything much newer than 60's equipment??..

For sure unless they would make them out of powdered metal......and that wouldn't work out so well.

So does anyone have any reference material regarding the GV? The owner said it was a 90 if not early 90's. Honestly I'm to the point where I'm A. trying to figure out if I want to use it if I can and B. is it a steal at $200. If I can't use it, I could always sell/trade for stuff I need.

I need to go back over there and get the reese hitch that came off a square ($50).....if it will fit with a 'burb tank under the bed. While I'm there, the plan is to get the VIN off the RV and research from there for the GV specs. Hell is there a plate or anything on the GV with a model number? Location of such?
