Probably not but felt I may as well replace it. May be little overboard but one less failure to worry about.

That's a fact. I usually find the first 2 failures of the hl switch is the dash light dimmer and next the dome light circuit.

While pulling the rad to solder up the heater hose attachment point due to leakage i decided to flush the rad with my garden hose. Over two cups of scale in it. So.. new heater hoses. Waiting on the rad hoses to come in tomorrow. and i will flush everything one more time. Need to go find a new fan shroud and new engine mounts.

well dome light has a new bulb and door jamb switches.

Anyone got a spare timing chain set?
Mines bout done and I have a week long break from school coming up and it'd help me alot

Those sets aren't that bad either. I've used them before when funds were tight back in the day. Didn't figure I'd want to for a 7000 rpm motor, but it did fine.

SWEET day today.. a free part and it got my speedo working. The fella says. I don't want money for it. I want you to take your mom out for pie and coffee.. Yes sir i will.. monday is pie and coffee day for mom.. :)

NICE !!! My luck, I'd get a guy to say he didn't want any want any money, just go to his house and give his 350lb wife a tonguin' she's been beggin' for it. At which time is when I say, My GPS makes a great speedometer.
