Stopped by a body shop that specializes in restorations. They only do frame-offs, and thought it would cost about $50k and 12-18mos to tear the burb down and bring it back up.

Hmmm. I guess after that I park it in the living room and never drive it again?

The guy said that usually they only work on classics. I thought squares were classic?

:lol: @ 50k!! That's basically making your truck brand new! This is a good example as to why it's much cheaper to do your own work especially for your mechanical needs
